Mrs. Coffman who was our 4th grade teacher would read a chapter or two after lunch while we rested. It was around and even though I did not remember much of the story, it inspired my new book Invisible Islands/5(5).

So far this book has been great and they are about to encounter their adventure of the invisible island.

This book has a lot of good descriptions like the water was shallow enough to wade across. I think the author does a good job of describing the setting, kids personalities, and their feelings/5. They declare their intention to be "shipwrecked" on their invisible island, and their parents are into it because all the other kids are in measles quarantine (yay vaccines!).

Naturally, adventures and mysteries ensue. The best thing about this book is the dialogue. It flows naturally and realistically and each kid has a really distinct voice/5.
